School of Art & Design (FAA) Computer Recommendations
The School of Art and Design students have access to a wide selection of computer technology in the Art & Design Laboratories. Students considering the purchase of a computer should consult with faculty in their intended program of study. The variation of work produced by Art & Design students requires diverse and specialized computing needs. Before investing in a computer, new students may find it more judicious to wait until the end of their freshman year to make a more informed choice about the type and level of computer that they will need. Wireless Internet and Campus Network access is available throughout most of the Art & Design Building, as well as other locations on and off campus. For convenient network access, students should purchase their notebook computer with wireless network capabilities.
Tech Zone has a wide selection of both PCs and Macs that would be suitable for the School of Art & Design's coursework. We also offer Apple educational pricing to all members of our campus community.
